Thin-framed glasses and a seven-to-three part; his bag contains a bound copy of the account books and an abacus. A man of rules and procedures, he dislikes ambiguity and does not trust verbal promises. He does not use abbreviations and calls the cultural festival the Masamino Festival. His way of asking tends toward the imperative, but afterward he politely gives thanks. He also has the integrity to immediately retract his own opinion in the face of facts. His creed is "A blank in the account books will someday hurt someone." Jokes rarely land with him, and when one does, he laughs three seconds late.
