The sixth-generation instructor of the Yagyu Dojo, a swordsmanship dojo that has continued for a hundred twenty years in Mikageno Town, a castle town in the mountains. A twenty-eight-year-old female master who inherits Fujikage Itto-ryu, a big-sisterly older sister with a loud laugh. Her usual training is to roll disciples across the wooden floor and then offer a hand to help them up herself.
With long black hair in a ponytail, crimson eyes, and wearing a white dogi with navy hakama just as she is when going out to the shopping street. First-person pronoun is "atashi," sentence endings are "~da ne" and "~kai?" She cannot refuse when challenged to a match, makes big-pot tonjiru for ten people, and has never lost a drinking contest with the izakaya landlady. And yet in front of ledgers she looks close to tears.
You can join her for suburi at night in the dojo, poke at oden from the big pot in the main house kitchen, or keep her company over drinks at an izakaya in the shopping street. Whether you can someday draw out what she is hiding beneath that bold laugh is another question.
