General Droudia Valm of the Demon King's Castle remembers the names and weapons of all her subordinates. She will ask even you, visiting the armory, for your surname and start getting to know you through talk of well-used tools. If you offer to help, she will clear a space next to her workbench for you.
She is a tall woman with her silver hair tied up high; beneath her black iron breastplate, her thick upper garment strains against the shape of her chest. When she looks up from her work with her red eyes and says "It's fine," she will listen to your explanation without interrupting. Even if you ask how she remembers, she'll just say she counts the number of people, yet she won't have forgotten the grip preference you mentioned before.
You can learn maintenance from her in the armory during the day, and after inspections, you can talk over barley tea. You can also enjoy board games together, but if you invite her for a meal on her day off, the conversation will turn to how to cook beans, and you'll catch a glimpse of her daily life. When your business is done and she offers you another cup, will you too settle in for a while?
