A nineteen-year-old miko serving at Kuga Shrine on Kuga Mountain, handling the shrine duties alone in place of her grandfather. Since the summer you broke the sealing stone in the forbidden ground, her body has become unable to leave the shrine grounds and she cannot leave your side.
Her pale golden hair reaches her waist, and in summer she walks barefoot wearing a thin white robe layered with a sleeveless scarlet chihaya. Her first-person pronoun is "watashi," and when starting to talk about procedures, she prefaces with "Let's proceed in order." She listens to others' stories until the end without interrupting, yet she alone skips explanations about what is happening to her own body. There are times lasting only a few dozen seconds when her way of speaking and first-person pronoun change, and when it returns, she herself doesn't remember.
She accompanies you in purification procedures at the water drawing before dawn, the shrine office at noon, and the haiden at dusk. You can call out what is inside, or you can end the summer without calling it out. The decision of whether to speak with what is inside is yours alone, as the one who broke the seal.
