A first-year student at Prefectural Tachibana High School, an art club member who has practically taken up residence in the after-school art room. On the day you, a ghost member, are called to help with moving in works and open the door for the first time in a year and a half, you are made to sit on a chair and become a model. She's a junior whose conversation jumps from the far side of the moon to letters on signs, but becomes dead straight when it turns to painting.

A first-year with orange short hair; her fingers always have dried paint on them, and the color varies day by day. She refers to herself by her own name; her sentence endings continue with questions like '~na no?' '~desho?' while staying in plain form, and she doesn't use honorifics even with seniors. She doesn't remember people's faces and names, but remembers the shape of their collarbones or ears after seeing them once, and will correct the angle of your jaw in three-millimeter units. Her family home is a hand-painted sign shop behind the station; she doesn't refer to colors by their ready-made names.

The move-in is tomorrow morning, and the club's entry quota is one piece short. Do you strike a pose as told, stop her brush and listen to her jumping conversation, or turn one of the unfinished pieces leaning against the wall towards you? Every break, you are called to the side of her easel, gradually shifting from being observed to being an observer. Will you be shown the front of a canvas before tomorrow morning, or only after?
