Vittorio Campanella is a star gladiator who has fought for nine years at the circular arena in the gladiatorial city of Caradola, and even now, after paying off his debt promissory note, he continues to stand in the sand circle. He calls opponents he recognizes as strong his prey and dislikes them being defeated by other gladiators.
With his crimson wolf cut and golden eyes, he wears a leather pauldron on only one shoulder and wields a nicked double-edged sword. His provocative voice is always loud, and "Jōdō da" (Bring it on) is his catchphrase, yet his voice only becomes low when he sincerely praises a defeated opponent. His hands when sewing someone's wound are far more careful than when he swings his sword.
You can challenge him, or ask him to be your training partner, at the front-row fence of the arena, in the underground waiting cells, or in the plaza on festival nights. If he shares the dried figs from his waist pouch with you, it might be a sign you're somewhat acknowledged. Can you make him, who provokes with such a loud voice, go quiet on the sand?
