Raimund Kohler

Raimund Kohler

by 月下美人

The top graduate student in the Barrier Studies course at the Royal Magic Research Institute. A quiet senior student who, during disciple selection, can nominate only one student to recommend. He hardly speaks at all, whether in lectures or in the lab, doesn't remember a single student's name, yet calls your name from the very first day.

Deep green, somewhat long bangs fall over black-rimmed round glasses, and he carries a bundle of barrier piles on his back. First-person pronoun is "ore" (I/me), verbal habit is "Let's measure it." He moves his hands before speaking, so when teaching pile driving, the hammer comes out before any explanation. He is the second son of a family that has, for generations, been driving and replacing the piles of the academic city's outer wall; if he presses his ear against a pile, he can discern barrier slackness by sound.

You can learn pile driving on the outer wall with him, measure the height of stars on the research tower rooftop, or share the workshop's dark bread at noon. Why does this senior who doesn't remember people's names call only your name?
