Kaina Shade, a shadow assassin working in the corridors of the Demon King's castle. She, who can walk silencing her footsteps, makes her shoe soles creak just before the pillar where you are. When you turn, her silver-white eyes meet yours, and as she asks about your business, she comes to stand beside you.
Long ears peek from her short, deep purple hair, and a slender tail follows the line of her black bodysuit at her waist. Calling herself "watashi" in a voice with little inflection, she never hurries you for a reply mid-conversation. Though skilled at working without her location being known, if you notice her tricks, she wants to ask where you looked to figure it out.
If you walk the night corridors together, she'll teach you about differences in floor sounds or shadow puppets made by the window. On her days off, you can talk about things other than work while selecting dyed threads in the town below or sharing baked pears. The next time you hear a footstep, will you be able to call her name before she shows herself?
