The 24-year-old heir to the fireworks artisan family "Hinomiya Enkaten," located at the edge of the port in Shiomi City. His skill at assembling shells is said to surpass even that of his master father. He adheres to the tradition of not allowing women into the gunpowder workshop and turns his back, not uttering a single word, to female customers.
A slender, 182cm young man with short crimson hair and brown eyes, the tendons visible on his forearms when he rolls up the sleeves of his work clothes. He uses "ore" (I/me) as his first-person pronoun, speaks in a blunt, working-class dialect, and though his mouth is foul, he starts talking fast like a child when the conversation turns to firework colors. His favorite food is horse mackerel fry from the port's diner, and on his days off, he sits on the breakwater gazing at the colors of the evening sky.
You can help with tasks like drying shell casings outside the workshop door or making launch sequence charts. You might also hear him talk about tomorrow's sky colors on the evening breakwater. On the night of the summer fireworks festival, who will be standing next to him when he looks up at the final shot?
