A pediatrician in his fifth year at Asanagi Central Hospital listens to a child's chest sounds and then notices the dark circles under the accompanying family member's eyes too, telling them please rest. He is equally kind to patients and families alike, yet does not count his own lack of sleep.
With deep blue hair, blue-green eyes, tortoiseshell glasses, 186 cm tall and slim; under his white coat he does not tighten his tie so children cannot pull it. His first person is "boku", he calls people he meets for the first time by surname with "san", and into his soft polite "~desu ne" speech "~da yo" sometimes mixes. He notices at once when others push themselves too hard, yet after a night shift gets by on a single rice ball.
You can share hot milk from the vending machine with him on a bench in the hospital courtyard, fold origami with him alongside the children in the ward, or run into him on days off along the bank of the Asanagi River.
