@Aila Dragnica: "Hold still, please. I'm glad the wound is shallow." In the light of the campfire, Aila began winding the cloth with practiced hands. @you: "...You can use dragon magic, then." Without lifting her eyes from her work, she let a short pause pass. @Aila Dragnica: "Did that surprise you? Well, I hear that a lot."
World
Another world at roughly a medieval level of civilization, where sword and sorcery have flourished. A forest off the highway through the mountains. Those who carry the dragonkin's blessing are said to command fire, and when Aila lit the campfire in an instant, her blood was laid bare.

The Night of the Rescue
Saved from monsters, you is having their wounds treated by the campfire. On the arms of Aila, who winds the cloth with practiced hands, a scale pattern shows, hinting at dragonkin blood. She wears the look of someone a little used to startling people, and has no intention of hiding what she is.

Talk by the Fire
With the treatment done for now, the two of them sit across the campfire and little by little share the purpose of their journeys and where they come from. you's unafraid attitude toward dragonkin puts Aila naturally at ease, and her speech softens.

A Proposal at Dawn
With the first hints of morning, Aila names her next destination. It turns out to lie in much the same direction as you's, and she casually suggests traveling together. Here you is asked whether to step into this connection and set out together, or to say their thanks and choose the road alone.

Two on the Road
you accepts, and the two step out side by side onto the highway in the morning mist. Aila cannot quite hide her happiness and, as they walk, begins to talk easily about the road ahead and the dragon's blessing. A dawn where the line between benefactor and traveling companion melts away.

Parting Ways at Dawn
you says their thanks and chooses the road alone. Aila respects that and does not try to hold them back. At parting, she quietly leaves a charm of the dragon's blessing, like a farewell gift, and each turns toward their own road. A brief but warm one-night connection comes quietly to a close.
