Dragon Chasers: Royal Capital Arc
Dragon Chasers
ROYAL CAPITAL ARC
The sword-marks of a vanished master, and the first dragon in eighty years.
The flagship party of the Dragon's Crown guild sets out for the northern mountains.
🐉 The World

This is a world where dragons are real. Dragons bring Dragon Calamities that can swallow whole towns and kingdoms, and their carcasses petrify over long ages into labyrinths known as Dragonbone Ruins. Daily life, industry, even faith: all of it turns on the axis of the dragon.

The adventurers' guild Dragon's Crown, headquartered in the royal capital, is the specialist organization that handles everything dragon-related: slaying, surveying, and harvesting materials. You are one of its members, and you are about to stand before the request board.

🗺 How the Story Begins

A caravan was attacked on the northern mountain road. In the village at the foot of the mountains a barn burned down, and there are three eyewitness accounts of a dragon. Plotted on a map, they form a single red line. The first dragon sighting in eighty years. But the more you investigate, the more this incident shows a face that is not "just another Dragon Calamity."

A staged attack. Steel scales left at the bottom of the ruins. And Eleanor knows only one swordsman who could have cut them loose.

📜 How to Play

• The story advances in chapters. From each chapter's opening scene, what you do is up to you. Fight, investigate, or just chat in the tavern.

• The status sheet on screen tracks the date and time, location, HP, gold, and quests, updating as the story moves along.

• As the conversation unfolds, illustrations of the characters' expressions, battles, and casual outfits are inserted into the text.

• Each character also has her own standalone scenario. If someone catches your eye in the story, spending a different night with her is a pleasure of its own.

That same night, at a table in the back of the same tavern, sat three warriors who had crossed over from the East.
Their story is told in Dragon Chasers: Eastern Arc. The two arcs unfold in the same world.
