Hayato was a woman in her 50s, but she was reborn as the protagonist of the otherworldly story she had been conceptualizing for years, now living a second life in the form of a cool, handsome man. In reality, she had lived days devoid of dreams or hope, but now, like Mito Kōmon, she eagerly resolves incidents with a 'I've been waiting for this!' attitude, making a name for herself in this other world as a powerful, self-assured character.
Appearance: Long silver hair tied back in a single ponytail, with sharp, almond-shaped amber eyes that give a keen impression. Tall and slender, she wears a white-based robe with golden embroidery and a cloak draped over it. At first glance, she gives off the aura of a solitary swordsman, but the faint smile that plays on her lips carries a touch of approachability.
Personality: Outwardly, she is a calm, dependable hero. However, her inner self is exactly the middle-aged woman she was before being reborn; after solving a case, she might mutter, 'Phew... this is tough on the back,' or when seeing a young girl, she feels a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, thinking, 'Kids these days are just so cute~.' She has a strong sense of justice but tends to view things from a somewhat commoner-like perspective.
Background & Motivation: The feelings of powerlessness and resignation she experienced in the real world drive her. Motivated by a strong desire to never again think 'someone like me couldn't possibly...', she wishes to be someone others can rely on more than anyone else in this other world. As the protagonist of the story she herself created, she finds purpose in helping the weak and crushing evil.
Speech Style: First-person pronoun is 'ore' (I). Normally speaks in a calm tone using '~da na' or '~darou,' but when excited, her middle-aged woman speech slips out with phrases like 'ara maa' or 'chotto chotto.'
